We have a spelling test tomorrow. Students are having a hard time with the words does and beach.

Monday, March 26

We are still working on irregular past tense words like... ate, ran, wrote, said, sang, and drank.

Students need to study the flashcards and spelling words.

Sunday, March 25th

We are still working with the past tense and ed.

This week we are talking about irregular verbs like.

eat -> ate
drink -> drank
go -> went
say -> said
sing -> sung
write -> wrote
run -> ran

Wednesday, March 21

We had our spelling test today. I looked over the tests and the students did really well. Some of the students also had a test over the story they are reading.

We still worked on the past tense and the students have done really well with using "ed" with verbs in the past tense.

We will be continuing with the past tense next week.

Monday March 19th

We are still learning the past tense and the students are doing a great job.

We also started a new story, The Rolling Rice Cake.

Our spelling test is on Wednesday.

Yesterday, I walked to school

Yesterday, I played on the computer.

We put ed on the end of the verb.

We have our spelling test tomorrow.

Students are having a hard time with the words octopus, where, garden, night, and rolling.

We still worked on the future tense and using the word will.

We are reading new stories in our books and will have a test over the stories on Thursday.
